Sadness in our Family...

Last Monday, October 15th 2012, our dog Ozzy passed onto the next world.  He was the best dog anyone in our family has known, and he was my "baby"...he was the first living thing I took care of from a baby on my own.  This is bittersweet, since he had developed a knee ligament problem last year which I'm sure made him uncomfortable, so at least he is out of pain.  Luckily, Logan is too young to understand death or grieving.  Our other dog, Kaytie seems a bit lonely, she sticks close to me.  However, she seems to be doing much better than I had anticipated.


Rest in peace, Ozzy Bear.  We love you so much.

I took my son out to do a great Halloween activity today, so I thought I'd show off some pictures!  He had the best time.  We went to Orr's Family Farm in Oklahoma City.  It was pricy, but it was worth it because he had a great time.  We got to ride a carousel and a train, they give out free pumpkins to the kids, and there was all kinds of food.  On to the pictures!    ............

Surgery's over!

I'm finally back!!  I had my spinal fusion done last month, and I'm finally starting to feel a little better.  The surgery was rougher than I thought, but everything is going well now.

 More good news, I've been chosen to be the Community Leader for the Sept. 2010 Birthday Club on BabyZone.com, I'm so excited!  Since the group on Facebook has abandoned me and won't tell me why, I'm excited to be able to talk to some other moms (hopefully no one stuck up like in the facebook group) about this magical time in our babies' lives!

This will be a short post since that's all I have for now, but I'll be back soon and with some cute pictures!
